1988 Letter from Harvey Weinstein to Errol Morris →
A little harsh, but totally true. These days filmmakers can’t rely on the merit of their films to generate interest. They have to do interviews and be entertainers/living advertisements. Personally, I’d love to talk about my film. Apparently Errol Morris wasn’t into it.
